Community invited to give input on historic plaza at Thursday meeting
from Tallahassee Democrat

Ashley White, Democrat staff writer
The public is being asked to give their suggestions about how to preserve the history of the Firestone-Bloxham site at a meeting Thursday.
At the meeting, attendees will be able to present their ideas for a plaza honoring the history of the buildings to developer North American Properties and its Community Historical User Group. Suggestions can include stories that can be retold via outdoor memorials, monuments or interactive exhibits.
The meeting is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Meridian Point Building, located across from Imagination Fountain in Cascades Park. Those wanting to attend are encouraged to register at CascadesProject.com. For those who can’t attend but still want to make suggestions, they can be emailed to [email protected].
